NEET-PG 2024 Notification

The National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduate Admission (NEET-PG) is administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to approximately 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma programs at 6,102 government, private, deemed/central universities. NEET previously called as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is a national-level pre-medical exam. Every Year over 20 lakh candidates fill out the form for the NBE-NEET Exam. The Candidates had to qualify for this Entrance for admission in Medical Post-graduate Courses across the country i.e. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Medical Postgraduate Courses – MD/MS/Diploma (NEET-PG ) will be held from May 2024 onwards. The NEET 2024 exam is based on Computer Based Test which is conducted in the English Language. Educational Qualification for NEET 2024

  • Candidates Applying for NEET PG must hold an MBBS degree or a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate that has been acknowledged by the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
  • Candidates must possess a certificate of registration (permanent or provisional) for their MBBS degree from the Medical Council of India (MCI), the State Medical Council (SMC), or both.
  • According to NEET PG eligibility requirements, students must finish their one-year internship by August 11, 2024, at the latest.
NEET-PG Eligibility 12th Marks Percentage

According to the NEET 2024, the minimum marks percentage of Class 12th according to the categories are listed below:

  • For UR Candidates – 50%, OR 275 out of 800
  • For OBC/SC/ST Candidates- 40%, OR 260 out of 800
  • For PWD Candidates- 40%  OR 245 out of 800
Age Limit Required for NEET-PG 2024

The Candidates Applying for NEET 2024 should be 17 years before Admission or the Candidates should not be born before 31 December 2006. The upper Age limit for Unreserved Candidates is 25 Years and for Candidates other than General Category is 30 Years. The Candidates fulfilling the above criteria are Eligible for NEET 2024.

  2. Click on New Registration Tab.

  5. After Registration, Now Choose the Exam Center of your choice, the medium of the Exam, and general academic details.
  6. The next step is to upload the documents like passport-size photographs, academic Certificates, Category Certificate, signatures, Thumb Impressions, etc
  7. The last step is to pay the Application fee via UPI, Debit card, Credit card, Netbanking.
